Today we learned a new game called "Snap It!" Since we've been working on our addition facts 0-5, we played a game to go along with it! In order to play you need 5 unifix cubes connected together for you and your partner. One partner goes first and puts the unifix cubes behind their back. The other partner says 1, 2, 3...snap it! Then they break apart the cubes so one group is in one hand, the other group is in the other hand. They bring one group out in front so their partner can see. If there are 2 cubes their partner would says "2 plus 3 equals 5." Or if it was 4 their partner would say "4 plus 1 equals 5." We loved practicing our facts while doing this fun game!
